Prosser IAREC Dormitory

The Dormitory at Prosser IAREC offers short-term (up to 6 month) housing for students and visiting scientists. This co-ed facility has both single and double rooms and occupies up to 11 residents.

To apply for space in the IAREC Dormitory, fill out the online request form and upload the space request signature page, both are linked to the right.

Room Allocation Priority

Space is provided on a first-requested, first-served basis, but room allocation is prioritized as follows:

  • WSU Prosser IAREC graduate students at this location conducting thesis/dissertation research.
  • Student interns working with a Prosser IAREC faculty member.
  • Short-term visiting scientists.
  • WSU students attending a class at Prosser IAREC will be allocated space as it is available.
  • New Prosser IAREC faculty, post-doctoral researchers, and/or staff may stay in the dormitory until permanent housing is found (exception will be made in the case of the Dormitory Manager).

Prosser House and Apartment Rentals

Renting in Prosser for short-term (less than 6 months) or on short notice can be tricky, as it is a high-volume housing market. We recommend searching for apartment and house rental options using some of the websites listed below:
