Prospective Students

Graduate students at a Research & Extension Center have the unique opportunity to hone their research skills while working in close proximity to innovative faculty and industry producers. Our faculty have developed positive working relationships with many growers throughout the region and research sites are often located at industry orchards, fields, vineyards, and hopyards. In addition, some programs allow for all coursework to be completed at Prosser IAREC, while others require some time spent at the WSU Pullman campus. On average, over 35 graduate students are affiliated with WSU Prosser IAREC each year. Graduates from our programs move on to successful careers in academia, industry research, extension, and private industry.
